Each person split into teams and at a moderate pace, jog in a single file line. The person in front is replaced by the last person in line who sprints up to take his place. The team continues jogging at the same pace. The team then counts to ten, after which the person in front is replaced by the sprinter from the rear. This is repeated until all members of the team had their turn to sprint to the line’s head.

Indian Run Using Medicine Ball

Each team is jogging in a single file line at a steady pace. The man at the front who is carrying a medicine ball, must pass it off to the person behind him. Passing the ball is done by raising the ball above the head, with the person behind, taking the upraised ball. Each person passes the ball until it reaches the last man. Once the last man has the ball, he runs to the head of the line and repeats the exercise. Your team finishes when each have had their sprint to the head of the line.

21 down

The idea is to do twenty-one push ups, followed by twenty-one crunches. After your first set of twenty-one push-ups and crunches, you do one less your next set, and you repeat twenty-one times. A smaller or larger number of sets can be used depending on the fitness level of the group.

Ride and Squat

You must have a partner and be in a grass field for this. A partner carries his pair on his back (piggyback) to the center of the field. A selected number of squats are then done in the middle of the field by the carrying partner. When done, keep carrying the partner to the other side of the field and switch off.

These exercises don’t have to be done on the same day. The weight drills like the piggy back and squats, can be done one day. On other days, the team could do the running exercises like the Indian run or the medicine ball Indian run. While on the other day do the running exercises. Separate the more fit people into a team that can do more sets, and the less fit people to do smaller sets.

Make sure to rest after each drill. Get plenty of water during this time. Doing these boot camp workout routines add a new level of fun to it all. When these exercises are used in team building, it is always guaranteed that boot camp workout routines always result to increased camaraderie and better teamwork.
